General Terms and Conditions for CANUZZO.COM

Thank you for shopping at Canuzzo.

If, for any reason, You are not completely satisfied with a purchase We invite You to review our policy on defects, refunds and returns below.

1. Main Considerations

1.1 These terms and conditions (the "Terms") shall apply to the legal relationship between CANUZZO OÜ, located at Mario, Lante küla, Kadrina vald, 45218 Lääne-Viru maakond, Estonia (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") and customers purchasing products from the Company's online store at canuzzo.com (hereinafter referred to as the "Customer"). The Terms set out the rights and obligations of both parties when placing orders, as well as payment terms, delivery details, returns and related policies.

1.2 The Company reserves the right to amend or supplement the Terms at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be published on the canuzzo.com website and deemed accepted upon order confirmation. Orders placed before an amendment is published will remain governed by the Terms in effect at the time of order.

1.3 The Company shall not be liable for any damage resulting from the Customer's failure to read and comply with the Terms.

1.4 In addition to the Terms, all purchases through canuzzo.com shall be governed by the laws of Estonia.

2. Interpretation

2.1 The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

3. Definitions

3.1 For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions:

  • Company (referred to as either "the Company", "We", "Us" or "Our" in this Agreement) refers to CANUZZO OÜ, Mario, Lante küla, Kadrina vald, 45218 Lääne-Viru maakond, Estonia.

  • Goods/ Products refer to the items offered for sale on the Service.

  • Orders mean a request by You to purchase Goods from Us.

  • Service refers to the Website.

  • Website refers to Canuzzo, accessible from https://canuzzo.com/

  • Customer / You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.

4. Product Details and Pricing

4.1 The Company aims to provide accurate product descriptions, specifications and availability details. However, errors may occasionally occur. In the event a product is out of stock after an order is placed, the Customer will be promptly notified and offered options to modify or cancel their order. While color reproductions aim to be as accurate as possible, screen settings may impact actual colors displayed. The Company does not guarantee an exact color match.

4.2 Unless otherwise stated, all prices on canuzzo.com are quoted in Euros and include applicable VAT for the country of delivery. The delivery costs are shown during checkout and covered by the Customer. The delivery costs vary per country of delivery and the size/weight of the shipment. Import duties for international orders are the sole responsibility of the Customer.

5. Placing an Order

5.1 To place an order, the Customer must be at least 18 years old. To place an order in the online store on canuzzo.com, the Customer shall select the desired product(s), add it/them to their cart and submit the order via the online checkout process. Registration is not required but allows easier management of past/future orders. A purchase contract is formed once full payment is made through available payment options and these Terms of Service are accepted during checkout. Basic contact and shipping details will be required during checkout. A confirmation email with the order number will be sent, containing information about the paid amount, ordered products and delivery details. Invoices can also be requested by contacting us at hello@canuzzo.com email address.

6. Data Protection Statement

6.1 We at Canuzzo OÜ respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy notice will inform you as to how we look after your personal data when you visit our website (regardless of where you visit it from) and tell you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you. Please refer to the Privacy Policy to learn more. 

6.2 Personal Data that we collect

6.2.1 When you visit our website, we may collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behavior patterns. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, nor allow any third party to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

6.2.2 We will collect personal data about you only if you voluntarily provide it, for example by placing an order or signing up for our newsletter. We will collect details such as your name, email address, postal address and telephone number.

6.2.3 We will use your personal data to process your order, contact you with information and offers about our products or services that you have subscribed to receive. We will not share your personal data with third parties without your consent.

6.3 Data Security

6.3.1 We employ security measures to protect your information from access by unauthorized persons and against unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction and damage. We will retain your personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in the Privacy Policy.

6.4 Your Rights

6.4.1 You have the right to request details of the personal information that we hold about you under data protection law. Where we hold information about you, you can request the following:

  • A copy of the personal data we hold about you

  • Correction of any personal data that is incorrect

7. Payment Methods

7.1 Accepted payment methods include major credit/debit cards processed through Stripe and direct bank transfers to the specified CANUZZO OÜ account. Details of available options will be shown during checkout, payment options may vary per country.

7.3 In case the bank transfer option is selected, the payment instructions will be sent to the Customer over email and order will be accepted only after the full payment amount is received on the Canuzzo OÜ bank account. If the payment is not received by Canuzzo OÜ within 14 days, the order is deemed cancelled.

7.4 Please note that payment processing and delivery may be subject to country-specific restrictions imposed by payment providers (such as banks and payment gateways) or governments. These terms are subject to change. Canuzzo OÜ follows all relevant regulations and is not responsible for changes to restrictions beyond our control.

8. Delivery

8.1 Orders are generally processed within 1-3 business days but may take longer during peak seasons. Delivery is performed by our selected couriers from our warehouses in Tallinn and Lante küla, Estonia. In Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania the deliveries and returns are handled by Omniva, Itella Smartpost or DPD.  In Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania the deliveries are made to the customer’s nearest parcel machine of the selected courier.

8.2 In case of international delivery the couriers may vary. Standard international delivery may take from 4 business days up to 34 business days depending on destination. Any extraordinary delays will be promptly communicated to the Customer via email. Canuzzo OÜ is not liable for delays which occurred due to circumstances we could not control or foresee (force majeure).

8.3 The customer is responsible for paying the delivery costs. The estimated delivery costs by country are listed in the table below. If your country is not shown, refer to the "Rest of the World" section. Please note that the delivery fees can change for orders with multiple items or higher weight. We at Canuzzo.com will do our best to keep this cost information up-to-date based on what our shipping partners provide. However, the final delivery fee will be displayed at checkout and that should be considered the most accurate amount.

8.4 In countries where additional import procedures apply, it is the responsibility of the customer to submit the necessary import declaration/other documentation and cover the applicable taxes and duties. 

10. Returns and Refunds

9.1 These regulations apply only to the products purchased directly through canuzzo.com online  shop. Returns/refunds for items purchased elsewhere must be addressed to the original retailer.

9.2 Defects / Damage

9.2.1 Please inspect orders immediately upon receipt. Notify the Company immediately if any errors, defects or damages are found. 

9.2.3 In case the damage has occurred during delivery it is the responsibility of the customer to collect necessary evidence and file a claim with the delivery company. 

9.2.4 In case production defects or damage (outside of normal wear and tear) are identified within 2 years after the delivery date, we will proceed to reimburse the cost of the product (excluding the delivery costs and any customs duties and taxes) and You will be required to follow the return process outlined below.

9.2.5 We will reimburse You no later than 14 days from the day on which We receive the returned Goods. We will use the same means of payment as You used for the Order, and You will not incur any fees for such reimbursement. Please note it may take up to additional 30 days until the refund transaction is processed by your bank and you actually receive the funds.

9.2.6 While we thoroughly tested the gear, certain elements may potentially exhibit defects during use. The equipment is also susceptible to normal wear and tear, especially with strong pulling dogs.

9.2.7 Your dog's safety and well-being are solely your responsibility. Canuzzo cannot be held liable for any issues regarding your dog's health or safety. 

9.2.8 The Canuzzo harnesses are not suitable for sled pulling, canicross and other sports that involve pulling. For safety purposes, we strongly advise against tying your dog by the leash or on a chain while your dog is wearing the Canuzzo harness.

9.2.9 Please inspect all harness components regularly. If your dog pulls hard, take extra safety measures and check the fit and condition more frequently. Strong forces may cause faster deterioration, so close monitoring is advised when using the gear with powerful pullers. At this time we do not offer repair or replacement for products damaged during the normal use. However, we will be happy to offer repair advice or supply separate parts and elements on request. 9.3 Order Cancellations

9.3.1 You are entitled to cancel Your Order within 14 days without giving any reason for doing so. The deadline for cancelling an Order is 14 days from the date on which You received the Goods or on which a third party you have appointed, who is not the carrier, takes possession of the product delivered. 

9.3.2 Please note that in case the order is cancelled before We hand the order to the courier will be refunded in full. However, in case the order is requested to be cancelled after We hand the order to the courier, the Customer will still bear the delivery costs. In this case the Customer will need to receive the package from the courier and follow the return process outlined below. 

9.3.3 In order to exercise Your right of cancellation, You must inform Us of your decision by means of a clear statement. You can inform us of your decision by:

9.3.4 We will reimburse You no later than 14 days from the day on which We receive the returned Goods. We will use the same means of payment as You used for the Order, and You will not incur any fees for such reimbursement. Please note it may take up to additional 30 days until the refund transaction is processed by your bank and you actually receive the funds.

9.4 Conditions for Returns

9.4.1 In order for the Goods to be eligible for a return, please make sure that:

  • The Goods are not used and not washed with the original labels and tags attached

9.4.2 The following Goods cannot be returned:

  • The supply of Goods made to Your specifications or clearly personalized.

9.4.3 We reserve the right to refuse returns of any merchandise that does not meet the above return conditions in our sole discretion.

9.5 Returning Goods

9.5.1 You are responsible for the cost and risk of returning the Goods to Us. 

9.5.2 To initiate a return, please email us at hello@canuzzo.com with the following details:

  • Your full name and email address

  • The order number

  • The reason for the return

We will then provide additional instructions within 5 business days.

9.5.3 You should send the Goods at the following address via your local postal service or any other preferred shipment method:

9.5.4 We cannot be held responsible for Goods damaged or lost in return shipment. Therefore, We recommend an insured and trackable mail service. We are unable to issue a refund without actual receipt of the Goods or proof of received return delivery.

9.6 Return of products marked as gifts

9.6.1 If the Goods were marked as a gift when purchased and then shipped directly to you, You'll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned product is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to You.

9.6.2 If the Goods weren't marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the Order shipped to themselves to give it to You later, We will send the refund to the gift giver.

10. Dispute Resolution

10.1 The parties shall first attempt to resolve any disputes directly through good faith negotiations before engaging the Estonian Consumer Protection Board, Tartu County Court or pursuing other remedies available under Estonian law.

11. Coupon Terms

11.1 Any provided discount codes must be entered during checkout to be applied against the order total. Two or more discount codes cannot be used at the same time. Discounts do not apply to the delivery costs.
